Since ages ago, we’ve been looking for a bombproof shell jacket that would stand up to the most severe weather conditions and abuse. We wanted simple, durable, and made with high performing fabric. When all the best options could bankrupt a seasoneer, making one ourselves seemed like a good idea. So we did. When we realised we could, at a price that we felt good about, we figured why not make some for our mates. That sort of snowballed and now here we are with a website and a bunch of jackets for sale.

We designed a jacket that works across activities, reducing the need for extra gear, and built it tough. We added minimal branding, made it a practical fit, and went for timeless colours to ensure you love it for decades to come.

We also asked the tough question: does the world really need another jacket? Probably not. Honestly, if you can, raid your parents’ wardrobe or buy second-hand, thats the ideal. But if you genuinely need something new, we’re doing our best to make it as low impact as we can. We use eco-friendly fabrics, recycled packaging the whole process through, and are repurposing all fabric offcuts into stuff sacks, tote bags, and other useful things, so no fabric ends up in the bin.

Our manufacturing is done in Kathmandu, Nepal through a small workshop we were introduced to by a family friend. With them we know we are working with good people, and are supporting ethical jobs and fair working conditions. We look forward to spending more time with the team in Nepal in the future.

The mission from the start was simple: build the ultimate shell jacket, and make it accessible. By running a small, direct-supply project with no retail markups, minimal overheads, no adverts, and minimal marketing expenses, we can keep prices fair without compromising quality. So tell your mates, because we aren’t.
